
Nuno Fábio Gomes Camacho Ferreira was born in Madeira in 1982. He graduated in Telecommunications and Networks Engineering from the University of Madeira (UMa) in July 2005. In May 2019, he obtained his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Aveiro, with a thesis entitled Medium Access Control in Real-Time Vehicular Communications. In September 2022, he completed his PhD in Physics from the University of Madeira, with a thesis entitled Modelling of Low-Current Gas Discharges by Means of Stationary Solvers. He is currently an invited Assistant Researcher at the IPFN Research Center at the University of Madeira, at the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Engineering of the University of Madeira, Portugal. His current research interests include modelling and experiments of non-equilibrium discharges in gases.
