Code for evaluation of the mobility and temperature of ions in a weakly ionized gas as functions of reduced electric field and gas temperature
Electric-field dependent ion mobility and temperature are calculated in the framework of the two-temperature displaced-distribution theory [1], which provides a better accuracy than the conventional approach based on (the first approximation in) the two-temperature theory. The code is fast and robust and includes a database with cross sections for a number of gases, including inert gases, molecular oxygen and nitrogen, and mercury.
