Jorge Mariano Fernandes Gouveia was born in Portugal. He received the BSc degree in physics and Technology in 1999, BSc degree in Physics and Chemistry Teaching in 2004 by University of Lisbon , Portugal.
From 1999 to 2004 he worked in several laboratories, particle experimental physics, gamma spectrometry, in Lisbon.
Currently, he is a teacher of the Regional Education Secretariat at the Faculty of the Exact Sciences and Engineering of the University of Madeira, Portugal.
